Since December 2018, I headed the entire communication of EIT Climate-KIC as Interim Director of Communications. With a team of over 10 (senior) communication experts in London, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Berlin, Warsaw, Paris, Bologna and Valencia, I co-designed all communication measures, was a member of the EIT Climate-KIC Executive Board and a member of the EIT Communications Directors Taskforce. Since 2017, I also managed EIT Climate-KIC’s communications in the DACH region (Germany, Switzerland and Austria).

Over 400 partners from business, science and the public sector form EIT Climate-KIC, Europe’s largest public-private network tackling climate change with systemic innovation. EIT Climate-KIC combines a portfolio of innovative interventions with challenge owners (e.g. cities or regions), a European accelerator programme for start-ups, and high-quality educational opportunities to systematically transform knowledge into competitive products and services. The mission of EIT Climate-KIC is to accelerate the transition to a carbon-free economy.

This Knowledge and Information Community (KIC) was founded in 2010 by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the EU Commission.

Seit Dezember 2018 leitete ich als Communications Director ad interim die gesamte Kommunikation von EIT Climate-KIC. EIT Climate-KIC verknüpft Innovationsförderung, ein europäisches Accelerator-Programm für Start-ups, sowie hochwertige Bildungsangebote um systematisch Wissen in wettbewerbsfähige Produkte und Dienstleitungen zu wandeln. Die Mission von EIT Climate-KIC ist es, den Übergang zu einer kohlenstofffreien Wirtschaft zu beschleunigen.

Gegründet wurde diese „Knowledge and Information Community“ (KIC) 2010 vom Europäischen Institut für Innovation und Technologie (EIT), einer Einrichtung der EU Kommission.
